To the World Improvement Team,<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I enjoy your Wednesday night broadcasts\u2026 but last night touched on something that God has reaaallly been dealing with me on lately\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n You told about when you were on a missions trip, and went outside during a storm and, in Jesus\u2019 name, commanded the rain to stop, and then the clouds to depart.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Well\u2026 to say the least\u2026 I\u2019m not one who would ever call this anything but the truth!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Right after I was first saved\u2026 which was about 15 years ago, I was outside my house, installing a home-brew central air-conditioning condenser unit.\u00a0 I was working on the AC wiring, and the skies clouded up, and it began to rain.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I \u2018had\u2019 to get it done that day, or wait another week\u2026 and I prayed \u201cGod\u2026 I really need to get this done\u2026 would you make it stop raining please?\u201d\u00a0 (as I said\u2026. I was a baby-in-Christ at that time\u2026 pleading for help).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n What happened next was something that I had never had happen to me before\u2026. and it was a shocker\u2026 God spoke to me\u2026\u00a0 VERY CLEARLY\u2026 and He said \u201cNo, you make it stop\u2026 remember My Word\u2026 how Jesus commanded the storm to stop?\u2026 and how several times He scolded His disciples for not having enough faith?\u2026 and that I gave you My SPIRIT to live in you?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Well\u2026 that was a shocker\u2026 but what happened next will stick with me forever\u2026. and beyond!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I said, out loud and looking skyward\u2026 \u201cIn JESUS NAME, STOP raining\u201d. And exactly like you said\u2026 within about 3-4 seconds, it completely stopped!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I had to look around to see if anyone saw this\u2026 but I immediately praised His Name, and gave THANKS!!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Well\u2026 years pass\u2026 until about 4-5 years ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n My wife (an incredible Chinese-Malaysia woman-of-God) & I now have 2 boys, and it was tornado season in the Kansas City area\u2026 and we had one heading right for us. There were reports of sightings within a mile of us, and the radar on TV News showed we were directly in its path.\u00a0 God reminded me of the first event (above) and I knew full-well that no tornado was beyond HIS powerful Name\u2026 so I went to the door, and IN JESUS\u2019 NAME, told it \u201cPEACE, BE STILL\u201d\u2026 then went back down into our safe area with my family, and continued to pray and watch the weather reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n At that very moment, the tornado retreated back into the clouds\u2026<\/span> it was gone. The next day, we were driving around, and saw obvious damage of houses, trees, fences\u2026 all within about \u00bc mile of our house\u2026 and in a line directly towards us.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n NEXT\u2026\u00a0\u00a0 about a month ago, we were having lots of bad Winter weather around the area, and had already had a couple of bad Sunday attendances at the Church where I work\u2026 obviously affecting the Church tithes\/offerings. (silly people\u2026 why do they not make up for it, just because they can\u2019t make it to Church, doesn\u2019t mean they get to \u201cskip out\u201d on their tithes\/offerings\u2026?)\u00a0 (BTW\u2026 we are very much an \u201cinner-city\u201d Church\u2026 far away from the \u201cwealthy-burbanites\u201d\u2026 our people are mostly inner-city people\u2026 hard workers, but low income.)<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Anyway\u2026 the forces of the enemy were hard at work, brewing up another snow\/ice storm for (of course) Sunday morning.\u00a0 God started bugging me about it Friday afternoon\u2026 pray against it, call on His Name again.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Well\u2026 I \u201cweenied-out\u201d a bit, and told all our staff to pray against the oncoming storm, so that people would be able to make it to Church on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u2026but God kept bugging me\u2026.\u00a0\u201cYOU do it<\/span>\u201d\u2026 was what I was hearing.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n All day Saturday\u2026 kept hearing the forecast for \u201cseveral inches overnight\u201d\u2026 and I kept hearing\u00a0\u201cdo something about it\u201d\u2026 God kept bugging me\u2026<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Well\u2026 Saturday night came, all the weather reporters were still saying it was going to be bad\u2026 it was already snowing (about \u00bd\u201d had already fallen)\u2026.. and God FINALLY got to me\u2026 after the rest of my family had all gone to bed. I went to the front door, opened it a bit (it was cold!)\u2026 and commanded that in JESUS NAME, there would be no storm, and that people would be able to make it to Church in the morning\u201d. Shut the door, went to bed.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Got up Sunday morning, looked outside, and there was \u00bd\u201d of snow\u2026 it looked exactly like it did when I stuck my head out the night before!\u00a0\u00a0 \\O\/<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Long & short of it\u2026\u00a0 I believe what the Word says\u2026 that if we have FAITH, and in my understanding \u2013 according to HIS will, and strictly for HIS glory\u2026 we can tell a mountain to get up and jump into the ocean! (my translation).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Problem is\u2026 our \u201cmodern Christianity\u201d is AFRAID of MIRACLES!\u2026 afraid to PERFORM Miracles is more like it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n We\u2019re \u201copen\u201d to allowing God to perform Miracles\u2026 but do it ourselves?\u2026 well\u2026. that\u2019s another thing!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n BUT HE SAID WE CAN\u2026 and it\u2019s not some \u201csmall part\u201d of the Holy Spirit that lives within the Believer\u2026 it\u2019s ALL OF HIM\u2026 ALL OF HIS POWER resides within us, according to HIS will.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Oh\u2026. if \u201cwe\u201d could only get this across to God\u2019s people\u2026 the WORLD would be changed!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n GOD\u2019S PEOPLE HAVE ALL AUTHORITY\u2026 ALL POWER OVER THE ENEMY, AND WE HAVE GOT TO START USING IT!!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n I\u2019m not saying that at Sheffield (where I work) we don\u2019t see miracles\u2026 we actually DO see miracles of healing\u2026 and a constant miracle of provisions to pay for this place that God said He wanted in the INNER-CITY to bring GLORY to HIS NAME\u2026 when all the \u201cchurch leaders\u201d said we should NEVER try such a thing!<\/strong><\/p>\n (see photos)<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n We still struggle with church finances. \u00a0I (as well as others) have not had a raise in 6 years, and with a single income household, and 2 boys in Christian school\u2026 it\u2019s tough\u2026 very tough.\u00a0 This is one area I wish God would \u201cbug me about\u201d\u2026 and have me command some finances to come not only into our household, but into Sheffield as well\u2026 to free us up to do more Ministry than we can now.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Personally\u2026 I was called out of a high-paying Electronics Design career that I\u2019d been in for 15+ years\u2026 God said \u201cit\u2019s time to leave\u201d\u2026 but never would answer my \u201cWHY?\u201d\u2026.\u00a0 so I just did. I was working for GARMIN International at the time\u2026 I was the 12th<\/sup> employee, and got to grow with them to over 3,000 employees, worldwide in over 10 countries.\u00a0 The President was a WONDERFUL man of God\u2026 who gave as it was given to him\u2026. and God richly blessed the company for it.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I\u2019m totally a \u201cbeliever\u201d in \u201calternative energy\u201d\u2026 it\u2019s people like you who give the whole movement credibility!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I\u2019m mainly involved in areas of water dissociation, and \u201cmotionless electrical\u201d energy \u2018harvesters\u2019.\u00a0 I believe God has given me a few ideas in both areas\u2026 just wish I had more time to work on it!!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n God has already given me some amazing product insights in my life\u2026 even WAY before I believed in Him!\u00a0 In the early 1970\u2019s, I was in my early teens, and loved music and bicycling\u2026 but there was no such thing as \u201cboom boxes\u201d at the time\u2026 no battery powered stereos to play my (yes, I\u2019m old) 8-track tapes on\u2026. so I made my own\u2026 and put it in my backpack, and went riding.\u00a0 World\u2019s first battery powered, high-powered portable stereo tape player.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n (hey\u2026 I\u2019ve been a electronics tinkerer since I was about 6 years old\u2026 so this was child\u2019s play)<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then, in about 1980 (age 21), I was a product design engineering assistant at a law enforcement electronics company, M.P.H. Industries. I still loved my music, but hated carrying around 100+ cassette tapes, and swapping them out just to hear the songs I liked on each. I came up with the crazy idea that someday, I would be able to digitize my music, store it on a memory chip, and plug it into my car stereo somehow\u2026 but unfortunately that was the days of 16-64Kbit DRAM memory chips\u2026 nowhere near what was needed to implement what we now call MP3 players.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Much later, when I was working in R&D at GARMIN, we were facing a whole new product generation, and needed to simplify our TCXO calibration process to meet mass-production requirements. I had a stupidly simple idea\u2026 why not just use the GPS satellite clock frequency to \u2018calibrate\u2019 our GPS receiver xtal oscillator, in real-time\u2026 storing calibration factors in a \u201coffset table\u201d in NV-memory based on our xtal osc. temp?\u00a0 I mentioned it to our chief engineer\u2026 and it was one of those \u201cDOH!\u201d moments\u2026 like why didn\u2019t we do this before?\u00a0 That was my first \u00a0patent\u2026 though shared with other Garmin engineers who co-developed it into a producible form.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n After I left Garmin, I was the Director of R&D at a small electronics contract design\/build house.\u00a0 I had my 2nd<\/sup> patent there for a snow plow remote control which sent the RF commands through the vehicle 12V wiring.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Well\u2026 I tend to go on and on\u2026 and on!<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ll cut it for now\u2026 and I continue to send you my prayers for support and protection!!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I look forward to the day when you are allowed to increase your \u201cclaimed output\u201d of your motor-generator set!\u00a0 You told me before it would do something like 40KW\u2026 that\u2019s awesome. Maybe someday I\u2019ll be able to build something similar, so I can get off the grid\u2026 and use that money for my boys\u2019 schooling!\u00a0 (My Dad passed a year ago to cancer\u2026 leaving me full\/unfettered access to his completely equipped machine shop\u2026 I\u2019m already having fun fab\u2019ing stuff. \u00a0At least he made his decision for Christ before he left this life\u2026 though just barely! \\O\/)<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Blessings to you!!<\/p>\n R.
